Act 1
Dan and Vivian are at home in the Bahamas.
Life is great, being protected by Guardian Angels.
One day, they are watching TV.
The news anchor announces that a 500 year old grave with a female skeleton has been found in the vicinity of Machu Picchu.
They believe this simple shallow unmarked grave belongs to the Incan Emperor Atahualpa’s beloved concubine,
Cuxirimay Ocllo.
(Quechua: Kushi Rimay Uqllu)
Santa Doña Angelina Yupanqui,
The Saint of Lost Children
she was a princess and consort to the Inca Emperor that first confronted the Spanish when they arrived.
Archaeologist believe she was the last surviving member of the Emperor’s royal family.
Plot point 1
Two weeks later, Dan and Vivian have two strange visitors. A Peruvian Indian couple from the the Peruvian Highlands.
They have traveled all the way from Peru to see them. After exchanging formalities and gifts, they get down to business.

The Inca couple tell Dan and Vivian they traveled from the highlands of Peru, having heard of their reputation, in helping indigenous people, which even included calming angry ghosts.
They tell them that they and all their neighbors in the villages surrounding Machu Picchu, are living in constant terror from an angry ghost of the powerful Incan Emperor Atahualpa.
They had been living peacefully in the Peruvian highlands for centuries.
At least since the end of the great Inca-Spanish wars, that lasted for over a century.
Machu Picchu itself had been the Inca’s last stronghold, and their strategically hidden city since the end of those great wars.
Life in the Peruvian highlands is very isolated
Usually able to avoid all the political instability in Peru’s cities.
Even the periodic military coup usually left them unscathed.
Because of their idyllic lifestyle, recent events have been so much more disturbing.
He has created panic with his ghostly rants and ghastly screams and gruesome threats.
Day and night, Life has become unbearable.
If Dan and Vivian can’t help them, they are lost.
Dan and Vivian agree to helping the Incas.
The Incas will return to Peru.
After long discussions with the two guardian angels, Dan and Vivian decide to travel to Peru on their own.
The two haven’t been by themselves for years and look forward to some private time alone.
They’re also quite experienced in dealing with angry ghosts.
Luckily, Guardian angels, are not confined by time or space.
Act 2
And so, Dan and Vivian are off to Peru on their own.
A word about Peru, it’s very unique country.
From its Metropolitan coastal Cities.
and its coastal desert plains.
To the Inca highlands.
And Steamy, tropical Amazonian jungle ports.

Where oceangoing ships come all the way up the Amazon river to the eastern edge of the Andes mountains.
Peruvians are also a very diverse people.
From Large Modern Cities
to the Inca Highlands
To the steamy Amazon Jungle towns
It is also the site of the mysterious Nazca lines.
Arrival in Peru
Dan and Vivian arrive in Peru and take in a little sightseeing of colonial Lima.
They rent a rugged jeep and drive up into the Peruvian Highlands.
Taking in the beautiful scenery.
They finally get to Visit Machu Picchu.
An Inca city hidden from the Spanish for centuries.
They even stop to feed some friendly llamas.
Dan and Vivian happily arrive at their destination, one of the lovely little village, where the ghost is terrorizing them.
They are graciously invited into this host’s house.
That night...
As he has done for the last several months, the angry ghost manifests itself and begins terrifying The village’s inhabitants.
Dan and Vivian have had much experience in confronting Ghosts. Most times they simply want to describe their sorrowful predicament.
He had now consolidated his sole power over the vast Inca Empire.
He had Absolute Power.
He had a loving queen, royalty from a northern tribe and a loving family.
he also had a beloved concubine named Cuxirimay.
“She was my cousin, the niece of my mother.”
Together they had a child, a lovely little girl.
“When is Spanish first arrived, we didn’t take them seriously.”
“Really, how many of them were there, 200 against our 80,000?”
“They arrived with strange animals much larger than our lamas. ”
“They had strange powerful weapons.
“They had crossed the jungle from one great ocean to the other.”
“They landed on our desert coast in strange wooden ships.”
“I even offered to meet with them and their own God’s special representatives, their arrogant priests”
"I of course complied!"
"The Spanish killed me anyway.”
"My loyal Incas buried me quikly ."
“The weight of all that gold proved very difficult to get to the coast and slowed them up.”
“It’s stretched out their troops for many miles.”
“They pulled him from his horse.”
“Because he loved gold so much. They poured the molten metal down his throat.”
“Until it came out of his mouth.”
“Great battles ensued between our people, with our large numbers and the ridiculously few Spanish conquistadors.”
“They not only killed me and my advisors, but the commanders of our powerful Inca army.”
“The Spanish only won because they had strange new and mysterious weapons and could ride and control large powerful animals that we had never seen before. “
“The Spanish subjugated our Inca people.
Many thousands of us, with just a few of them.”
“Then, they massacred my entire family."
"The Spanish purposely destroyed my entire royal bloodline.
“They took her captive
They raped her.
They Baptized her Catholic.
“Eventually the Spanish Inquisition judged her.”
“The court sentenced her to death.”
“They buried her in a shallow grave, without even a wooden coffin in a quiet Catholic ceremony.”
It was left untouched, all these years.”
“Her sacred grave has now been defiled!"
“¡Incas!
Until my royal bloodline is restored to the throne, there will be no peace in the scared Highlands!”
The next morning, they explain the angry ghost’s, demands to their hosts and the rest of the terrified townsfolk.
Since Atahualpa’s entire family were massacred by the Spanish conquistadors, the town is at a dead-end in trying to fulfill the angry ghost’s demands.
They tell the couple, that they know all about “Cuxirimay” who is also patron saint of lost children.
She was the emperor Atahualpa’s first cousin.
Even after their deaths, she remains his much beloved princess.
The mother of his royal blood child.
However....
The child survived the royal family’s massacre, and Cuxirimay’s own execution.
And was spirited away at night for safekeeping.
Dan and Vivian realize a possible solution.
They go around to all the other villages, explaining to them the possible solution to getting rid of the angry ghost.
The next day they head back to Lima, down on the coast.
Dan and Vivian head for the National Museum of Archaeology.
Once inside they tour the cavernous halls
.
First they walk through the many Inca sculpture and architecture displays.
Soon they enter the gold halls.
The displays are truly amazing.
Especially when you realize, that all this represents only a fraction of the 100 tons of gold and 25,000 tons of silver, that the Spanish plundered in just a century.

Finally, they reached their destination, the musty, archaeological laboratories, stuffed way in the back.

Dan and Vivian explain to them that their intention is to extract DNA from a bone fragment. This will help identify a living relative among the people currently living in the Highlands.
They explain, that the whole indigenous highland communities is hoping to re-install a member of the Inca royal family into their 21st-century society.

The archaeologists are all excited.
The next stop is a modern DNA laboratory experienced in extracting recombinant DNA from old bone samples.
They are successful in extracting and decoding the princess Cuxirimay DNA.

Dan and Vivian now have the DNA profile of Emperor Atahualpa and his royal family blood line.
Next stop is back to the Highlands.
They embark on an ambitious program to sample the DNA of all the residents of the nearby villages terrorized by Atahualpa’s ghost.
After further testing, they can definitively pick Atahualpa’s living descendant.
A great party is given at Machu Picchu
The coronation of Atahualpa’s descendant is consummated.
The Inca royal family bloodline sits once again on the throne.
The relieved Atahualpa is ecstatic. He is finally free from his earthly bonds.
He becomes an angel with golden wings.
He is happy and content.
He decides to visit the village one more time.
He descends on golden wings onto the street and engages with local residents.
The Angel Atahulapa wants to give his treasure to Cuxirimay daughter’s Descendant.
A parchment treasure map is hidden behind the altar to the sun god at his temple at Machu Picchu.
He ascends into the sky and disappears into the distant night.
Obviously, Peace has returned!!

The next morning, all the local people are very excited and eager to tell Dan and Vivian about their encounter with
Atahualpa’s Spirit's Angel
The people also tell Dan and Vivian about the Map.
Dan and Vivian go to Machu Picchu to the altar in the temple and find a silver tub with an old parchment map.
The Map discusses the angles of the sun on the various days of the year. One angle is highlighted.
It Leads directly up the mountain. Where they find the cave.
Upon entering the cave, they find it filled with Inca murals.
A little further on they find an underground river.
They cautiously follow the river.
It ends suddenly.
It ends suddenly.
They discover the Emperor Atahualpa's treasure chest.

The treasure is wealthy enough to allow Dan and Vivian to help the various highland communities build health clinics and even a hospital.
And then there’s enough money leftover to distribute to every village resident and totally eliminate poverty in the highlands.
Plot point 2
The villager’s throw a traditional Peruvian highland goodbye celebration for Dan and Vivian.
The townspeople gratefully give Dan and Vivian, a small golden sculpture that represents Saint Atahualpa. He will provide both of them his protection. The small figurine has been blessed by the village’s priest.
Act 3

Horrified, Dan and Vivian are soon airborne and find themselves flying off the cliff!
Suddenly....
Dan and Vivian feel the car stop in mid fall!
He has come to rescue them!
It is the Guardian Angel of Atahualpa with golden wings!
He lifts up the car with his strong arms.
And soon the car is being carried on his golden wings.
He gently places the car back on the road.
And then disappears.
They happily continue driving down to the coast and Lima.
Just happy to still be alive!!
They take their small boat to their private island.
Surprise!!!
When they arrive, they are very surprised to find the guardian angel of the
Emperor Atahualpa is now playing ball with their own Guardian Angels.
Atahualpa is invited and has decided to join their family.
Soon
