Where Spain developed the model for the conquest of the continent.

And the future of Europe and the Americas will be forever changed.

According to National Geographic,

"Studies confirm that a wave of
Pottery-Making farmers...
known as Ceramic Age people...

The Taíno set out in canoes from the north-eastern coast of South America starting some 2,500 years ago and island-hopped across the Caribbean.

Through recent archaeological evidence, it is undeniable that the Taino were influenced by both Central American and South American cultures such as the Mayans and Aztecs through trade and intermarriage.

However…

Recent Genetic Studies show in addition to the Taíno Amerindian mtDNA, there exists another of two major haplotypes.
 .

This indicates that upon arriving, the Ceramic Making People, found there was an earlier, Simpler Farming People, who had arrived themselves 6,000-7,000 years ago.

The Taíno genetically assimilated them.
